ADCO – Al Dabb'iya Facilities Development Phase III Project

The Al Dabb'iya Facilities Development Phase III Project is a key initiative by Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations (ADCO) aimed at enhancing oil production capacity from the Al Dabb'iya field, located within the Al Dhafra region of Abu Dhabi. This project plays a strategic role in supporting the UAE's long-term energy security and economic growth objectives. Key Highlights: Increased Oil Production Capacity: Phase III expands production facilities to boost crude oil output while maintaining reservoir integrity, contributing to Abu Dhabi’s sustainable production goals.

Advanced Infrastructure Development: The project involves the construction of wellhead facilities, pipelines, and central processing units, ensuring efficient extraction, transportation, and processing of crude oil.

Enhanced Oil Recovery Techniques: To maximize hydrocarbon recovery, the project utilizes advanced water injection and gas lift systems, optimizing reservoir pressure and productivity.

The Al Dabb'iya Facilities Development Phase III Project underscores ADCO’s strategic vision to enhance energy production while adhering to the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and operational excellence. Our scope was the fabrication & site welding of 90,000-inch Dia Alloy 825 Inconel Cladded pipe spools of various diameters 0.50” to 36” Clad/ Solid with the thickness range from 2.77 mm to 57.50mm. Including branch connections Weldolet, Flageolet, Nipolet, Elbolet, and Insert Weldolets etc. GTAW Manual, GTAW Auto, SMAW& SAW processes were used to comply with relevant WPS, and Butt joints were 100% RT examined PWHT was applied in line with the code requirements.
