The North Field Production Sustainability (NFPS) Offshore & Pipelines Project is a key initiative by Qatargas to support the long-term productivity of the North Field – the world’s largest natural gas reserve. As part of Qatar’s broader strategy to meet global energy demand, the NFPS project focuses on maintaining plateau production rates through the expansion and upgrade of offshore facilities and subsea pipelines.
Proclad was selected to support this strategic program with the engineering, manufacture, and supply of corrosion-resistant alloy (CRA) cladded piping systems for both offshore and pipeline infrastructure. The scope includes weld overlay cladding, precision CNC machining, and fabrication of fittings, and flanges, tailored to withstand the harsh, high-pressure environments of offshore gas operations.
Proclad ensured the delivery of fully traceable, mechanically compliant components in line with the stringent specifications of Qatargas and its EPC contractors. Our integrated approach reduces lead time, minimises interfaces, and ensures consistent quality across all project deliverables.
This contract further demonstrates Proclad’s capability to contribute to some of the most technically demanding gas infrastructure projects in the world.
